| Backup Outlook Express info
Don't want to lose your all your e-mail addresses/e-mail account info or have to put all the info back in if your computer crashes or you have to re-install everything? Then this section is for you. This tech tip will show you how to backup your address book and your e-mail account settings.
NOTE: Save your backed up data to a 2nd physical hard drive. If you don't have a 2nd hard drive, the data will be small enough that you can save it on a floppy disk or you can save it to a cd with your other important backups.
NOTE: Whether you've redone your hard drive or you just lost your Address Book/e-mail account info from a crash or system restore, always go to Windows update and check for any updates before you import your backed up Address Book/e-mail account info.
Backing up your Address Book:
Select a location to save your address book to and give it a name in the File name window and click Save.
Importing your Address Book:
Select the location of your of your backed up WAB file and double click on it to import it back into Outlook Express.
